Rebels with a good cause
The Whiskey Rebellion, country band from Virginia, has recorded two regionally-acclaimed original albums, shared the stage with the Sam Bush Band and Carolina Chocolate Drops, and had their 2011 tour of the Pacific Northwest captured by filmmaker Tony Morin for a forthcoming concert film & documentary.
Using their skillful picking and three-part harmonies, they have been playing their own kind of high-energy acoustic music for almost a decade. With a diverse musical background, they mix a little bit of bluegrass, jazz and rock and roll, creating their unique listenable and danceable style of music.
