This is another recognized Virginia Historic Landmark and is also on the records of the National Register of Historic Places. Many shows and events are scheduled in this Virginia opera house of various genres. Renowned names like Roy Rogers, Dale Evans, Lash LaRue, Randolf Scott, Sunset Carson, Hopalong Cassidy, Tom Mix, The Lone Ranger, Gabbey Hayes, Grandpa Jones, Little Jimmie Dickens, Stringbean, Minnie Pearl, Earnest Tub, Del Wood, Rey Acuff, June Carter Cash, Stanley Brothers, Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs, were all here.
