The filming of this blockbuster movie by Steven Spielberg, “Lincoln”, took place right here in Petersburg Virginia. It was chosen by the filmmaker mainly because of the panoramic view of the city enabling them to make a 180 degree vista of all the structures that are within Petersburg Virginia. Their historical structures are really a cut above the rest. That is how grandeur the historical structures that were built many scores and centuries ago by their forefathers.
