As historic as this museum, the movie National Treasure: Book of Secrets used the place as one of its film locations. The movie is about a treasure hunter, which was played by Nicholas Cage, who is in search for the assassin of Abraham Lincoln and was filmed here because of its relevancy to the movie itself. Nicholas Cage, Justin Bartha, Diane Kruger among its co-stars were in this museum and in Virginia during the shooting of this movie. The George Washington Masonic Museum is one great treasure for the Virginians and you should treasure your experience of visiting the museum.
